Firearm Fundamentals: Introduction To Gun Safety And Marksmanship
Protecting yourself and your loved ones from violence requires you to have the best tools and training available, and our Firearm Fundamentals course is the best place to start. If you're new to carrying a firearm for self-defense, you've recently purchased your first gun or you're thinking about buying one, this course is specifically designed to introduce you to safe gun handling and shooting fundamentals. You'll learn the correct way to load, unload and carry your firearm for personal defense, as well as the basics of marksmanship and general firearm safety.
If you're thinking about getting your Tennessee Handgun Carry Permit this course will prepare you for the gun safety class required to obtain it. Even if you've never fired a gun, we can train you!
We only accept individuals or small groups of family or friends (up to 3 total participants per group) for this course, to ensure the highest quality training without the intimidation of having others present. We offer professional, safe instruction on our private range, with an experienced certified instructor.
Students must provide their own firearm (handgun or shotgun), ammunition and range safety equipment (eye and ear protection), and must be legally eligible to own a gun. No gun? No problem. We have a 9mm house/training gun* available for new shooters who have not yet purchased their own. Contact us for information.
This introductory training is approximately 2 hours in length, and additional hours may be purchased.
Cost: $65
Additional Hours: $20/hr same day as lesson or $25/hr other days

Private Instruction: Defensive Shooting Basics
This is an abbreviated session of our Advanced Concealed Carry and Defensive Shooting course, during which the student receives personal, one-on-one instruction. It is the next level of training for gun permit holders who have only had the "permit" class, and is ideal for new shooters who are uncomfortable participating in large groups, or for anyone with a desire to improve their skills and confidence in a private setting.
Our Defensive Shooting courses focus on developing the core fundamental skills necessary for surviving the types of violent incidents you're most likely to encounter in everyday life.
In this course we cover:
Students must provide their own firearm (handgun and/or shotgun), ammunition (factory loads only) and range safety equipment (ANSI certified eye and ear protection), and must be legally eligible to own a gun.
Small groups of up to 3 friends or family members can participate at an additional cost per participant.
Cost: Individual - $85
Group: 2 or more students - $75 per person

Our Defensive Shooting courses focus on developing the core fundamental skills necessary for surviving the types of violent incidents you're most likely to encounter in everyday life.
In this course we cover:
- Additional laws relating to armed personal defense and the use of deadly force
- Mental preparedness: Developing a Defensive Mindset
- Escalation of force
- Concealed Vs Open Carry
- Developing superior defensive shooting skills (rather than focusing on marksmanship)
- Techniques to increase speed and accuracy when drawing, acquiring the target, and firing
- Cover and concealment
- Tactics for armed encounters
Students must provide their own firearm (handgun and/or shotgun), ammunition (factory loads only) and range safety equipment (ANSI certified eye and ear protection), and must be legally eligible to own a gun.
Small groups of up to 3 friends or family members can participate at an additional cost per participant.
Cost: Individual - $85
Group: 2 or more students - $75 per person

Private Instruction: Draw And Fire!
Armed conflict, especially involving the handgun is close, fast and over quickly. There will be no time to “orient” to what is happening, you will either rise to the occasion or you will not and the history of armed conflict has shown the person who can go from observation to action the quickest will usually prevail. Someone shooting back at you changes everything, which is why essential skills must be learned and practiced.
A fast and consistent draw is the single most important skill for a defensive handgunner, and this training is designed to help you develop solid fundamentals for presenting your firearm from concealment.

Advanced Concealed Carry And Defensive Shooting
The Next Level And Most Important Step In Concealed Carry Training

That "permit class" you just completed was NOT a concealed carry class! It was a "gun safety" course that Tennessee requires in order to qualify for a handgun carry permit. Due to their time constraints and state-mandated curricula most "permit" classes offer little or no instruction in the two elements most critical to your survival: Defensive Shooting and Personal Security. Our Defensive Shooting course focuses on developing the core fundamental skills necessary for surviving dynamic critical incidents where employing your firearm may be required, as well as how to avoid potential confrontations using proven situational awareness techniques. This training will elevate your proficiency and confidence to a level far beyond the average armed citizen, and significantly increase your chances of surviving any violent encounter. Whether you're an experienced shooter, or you've recently joined the ranks of responsibly armed Americans, this course is designed to take you to the next level in armed personal defense.
In this 8-hour class you will learn numerous subjects that are not covered in the basic handgun class, including how to retrain your body to react under stress, developing speed and accuracy, using cover and concealment, defensive shooting vs marksmanship, and much more. We also cover State laws you must know before you even consider using a firearm for self-defense. Carrying a gun without a comprehensive understanding of these laws could land you in jail!
